Peabody Talent Show 2016

This would be known as Samantha's Squad at Peabody. Char Char, Lo Lo, Stella and Sam are pretty much inseparable. Despite my insistence that she should play the piano in the talent show again this year, I was outvoted and these four made up a dance routine.

The Try-Out.

Younger siblings there in support.

The dance in its infancy.

(they made it past the try-outs. shhhhhh, I think everyone does) ;)

Then the real practicing began. And Stella's mom, Jenny, is more of a cheer/dance mom than I ever was. ;)

The shiniest pants I've ever seen were ordered.

Costumes were put together.

And then this happened. The two younger siblings, Thatcher and Juliana, were game to join THE SQUAD!

A look at how the routine evolved over the course of a couple of weeks before showtime.

The fiesta caboodle of makeup came out on show night. ;)

Sold out show!

Ready to go on stage!

They kicked off the show as the opening act. Even with a little music technical difficulty towards the end they kept things moving and were a hit!

Hopefully these two perform every year in the show! Not sure how much longer I will be able to get Thatcher to wear pants like that and dance like he did.

Celebratory dinner at Mesa Cafe!

Here's a look at some of the other talent at the school. Definitely one of my favorite events at Peabody each year!

Random March Photos

I chopped my hair.

Wish I knew how to recreate these waves. I am flat iron challenged...

Thatcher also got groomed.

Samantha had a "sick day" from school and we went out to breakfast.

Beach walks with my bestie.

Celebrating the lovely Victoria on her birthday.

Dancing Grandma picked the kids up from school in her new ride!

Shooting hoops with Grandma.

Fridays at Shoreline Cafe with friends.

Todd and I crashed the Pirozzi/Soper family night out.

Lunch at Yellow Belly with friends before the Peabody play.

Hiking with Victoria and Eleanora. (and Lollipop)

Drives out to Girsh Park for soccer many times end up with a sleeping kindergartener.

I've never seen Todd so excited anticipating our friend Sam's surprise entrance to his birthday party.

Surprise!!!

Not a bad spot for a party.

Stella turned one!

Sammy working on her arm.

She actually did get out on the pitcher's mound once this softball season which was fun to watch.

As close as Samantha is going to get to having her own iPhone.

The three kiddos.
