Lunch is such a special thing at Peabody.
Families come to eat with their kids not only on T-day but most days because the food is so good!
Sam woke up on actual Thanksgiving as a 12-year-old!
We headed south to be with my parents and look at all the snow-capped mountains - heading into as winter-y as California gets.
Rain is always confusing when you don't get a lot.
Never prepared for it!

And yes, there's a place in California called Funner.
And here Gambling Grandma goes - Seven Star status! 🎉🍸
Follow Grandma around slot machines because she knows what she is doing.
Within minutes of arriving she won a jackpot. 🤷♀️
And then another and another and another. The wins (and loses) went way past midnight and I finally went to bed leaving GG alone at the slots. 😳
The only family friendly activity was a Top Golf video game that had multiple sports to choose from. It was rainy and cold and the pool was not heated so that wasn't an option.
The kids kept getting kicked out of the casino but we'd try to cheer on GG as much as we could.

Had to escape the casino for a non-smoking venue. Grandma was still gambling. 🤣
But then we were back to this.

I think we were all delirious from 48 hours in Funner.
Not sure there will ever be a next time at this place but we did get a kick out of Gambling Grandma!
