Yep, I met Oprah. And we both like stripes! 

We are friends with the owner of Mesa Burger and while out with him one night he told us that Oprah was supposed to come into the restaurant the next day. I told him I was a big fan but didn't expect a call to hurry and come down to meet her. I had no time to spruce myself up!  

On a beach run with Lollipop we spotted this seal on the rocks.  

Lollipop began to bark at it and 

into the water it went. 

But it was so distressed. 😕

poor thing.

It eventually made it back to the rock but then Lollipop barked again and back in the water it went so off we went and I hope everything ended up okay. 🤷‍♀️

Plastic surgery consult for Thatcher's foot. 

The doctor actually was going to fit him in right then and do the minor procedure but with baseball, football and soccer still happening, we needed to find a window where Thatcher had a week or so with limited activity. Which is never so we put it off until the end of the summer.

My friend Bess had a makeup/makeover party where you bring all the contents of your makeup drawer (side note: I had a whole box under the table in addition to Samantha's caboodle I borrowed 😂) and a consultant helped us to sort through what to keep, what to trash and then the fun part, how to use it. 

This was definitely a party the little girls wanted to be a part of. 

We were all kind of matchy-matchy and left with a lighter load of cosmetics and some beauty tips! 

Double hernia surgery a success!

Our friends invented The Go Chair (check it out!) and they needed a last minute family to photo for some promotional stuff and literally knocked on our door as the sun was setting and asked us to walk down to the beach and in exchange for some photos, we'd get a pack of Go Chairs! Deal!

My friend Tammy is so fun to sit in the sports stands with, especially baseball, and this text cracked me up when I was taking her son home after practice. After I was done laughing, I realized it was a pretty darn good list and I referred to it all the time for Thatcher!

Sam had a bit of a break from sports at the end of May however with all the baseball her brother was playing, she couldn't get away from it completely. I'm thankful she has her books!
