Academic Showcase 2017

At the end of the school year, parents are invited to Peabody for a tour around the school by their kids showing them all the fun stuff they did throughout the year. It is also a chance to meet the group of teachers in the grade above for next year. And let's be honest, it's a time for the teachers to begin cleaning their classrooms and clear out all the work from the past year packaged up in a nice folder (or shoved in your backpack in Thatcher's case).

We've got quite the collection going of ceramics.

Twins, right?

Sam has told us she knows how to make some pretty freakish looking ceramic pieces. Anyone want to buy this one?

You'll recall, this was her first grade self portrait ceramic. Yikes!

Give him a few years, he'll pass her up. I think...

I asked Thatcher if he was saying "coach" and he said, "no, couch" interesting.

Thatcher asked me today what a bream was. At least we are improving in second grade. ;)

Soon to be 4th and 2nd graders!

San Roque Supper Club

Todd and I are in a dinner club with our elementary school family friends called San Roque Supper Club (SRSC). I am glad they invited us in considering we have never lived in San Roque. We've gone to several dinners this past year and FINALLY it was our turn to host. There are no rules in dinner club, so if you want to do takeout, you can. You can do a theme or no theme. Host at your house or choose a place out. My kind of dinner club, pressure free!

SRSC usually has one "bring the kids" event a year so we decided to invite everyone to our house WAY OVER on the mesa, far, FAR away from San Roque.
