Samantha's last field trip of the year was a scavenger hunt around town.
This is the first time that Charlotte and Samantha have been in a class together and it was nice to have them end the year being on a team together.
I think Sam broke some sort of record on her FitBit that day!

The American Flag IS OSUM. He still spells that word wrong and there is an ongoing theme where he ends most journal entries with something being "osum"

And what's cool is that 8/21 was the first day of school this year and the principal purchased 720 pairs of special glasses so every single kid could view the solar eclipse.
I love Samantha's handwriting. I still don't have good penmanship so it makes me happy that at nine, Samantha has it!
