Our last full day in Hawaii. Sniff, sniff.
We made the best of it and played in the waves all day long.
It's not easy getting a group photo of all the kids.
Two kids are missing and Beck is facing the wrong way. Not bad.
The paddle board yoga definitely improved when I was fired as the photographer.
Adam was so proud of himself for piecing together a plate of lunch for each kid. We were trying to empty the fridge before we left so this is a mix of leftovers from Hawaiian bread to chocolate chip cookies to who knows what is in between those sandwiches?

We departed the beach and headed for the pool.
Stella definitely won best dressed with her swimming attire complete with swim cap.
We spent a lazy afternoon, reflecting on the trip and being in denial that we would have to leave the next day.
I wasn't sure how Todd was going to say goodbye to that guitar.
And just like that, pool time was over and we went back to the beach.
The whole group went swimming and we stayed in the water until the sun was setting.
Time to get cleaned up!

Between Todd and Thatcher, I don't know who was catching more creatures.
The morning before our flights, we were able to spend about an hour in the water. Our beach set-up dwindled down to just a red umbrella, some chairs and a lone boogie board.

This was minutes before our transportation was about to arrive. And yes, we were having a beer for the road. Remember, we were trying to clean the refrigerator out. ;)

I've got to say, the latest Coke campaign is pretty good. And I love when I get a can that fits ;)

I thought it was best to sum up the trip with a slideshow. We couldn't have asked for a better trip and better hosts. We feel so thankful (and #blessed) to have been able to experience Hawaii like we did. Normally it feels good to get back to Santa Barbara and back to the routine after a vacation but this was different. We are all still longing for that warm, crystal clear water and nothing to do all day but spend time with friends, relaxing at the beach, then the pool, then the beach, then the pool....Perhaps again one day! ;)
