I think this is Thatcher explaining what Santa looked like when he saw him.
Waiting for us to say they can go to the family room.
Bedhead and stockings!
Our Christmas tradition is stockings only and then we eat a big breakfast.
And then opening presents one by one. We rotate and watch each other. It lasts the whole morning and keeps things neat and organized. I love it!
Sam added another check to her collection from Grandma and Poppy!
Thatcher is the ethika king these days.
Sam loves short shorts! My rule is, "wear them while you can!" Side note: Thatcher is patiently (or impatiently waiting his turn to open next) 😁
Poor Lolly, her chest was too big for her new sweater. She looks humiliated.
Our friend Bess is the sweetest and gifted us these Fallon cups!
Holley knows me well. 🍾
All done and finally dressed!
For YEARS I have wanted a tumbleweed snowman. We used to see one in Thousand Oaks every year on our way to Christmas Eve at Todd's parents.
We never have had one before because we never found tumbleweeds in Santa Barbara. Until this year! And they were literally on our street so it was meant to be!
Testing out the new bikes and the new cups.
And then the neighborhood was full of families outside playing with all their new toys so we opened the door and let them all in!
Later that evening we had a family Christmas dinner.
He'd be happy eating black olives only for the rest of his life.
An evening bike ride to see the end of the sunset.
And that was Christmas 2017!
