Random November Photos

Killing time over chicken wings waiting for Samantha to finish soccer practice.

Fireplace season had begun!

You are guaranteed to run into friends at Mesa Cafe.

Headed out to dinner with the neighbors.

Brophy's.

These faces!

Sometimes you have to hand over your phones to get through a late night dinner.

These two got just a little bit crazy that night.

Roo Roo finally tired out.

A birthday rose for Thatcher's teacher, Mrs. Howe.

Lollipop loves to pick up her brother and sister from school.

Election day at school! I think they voted for their favorite ice cream.

Pretty Lights at the SB Bowl. Never heard of them. Not sure I am a fan. But a night at the bowl never disappoints.

A beautiful afternoon at Left Hand Ranch with friends.

A play date at Bacara for Sam. Lucky girl!

Birthday party for Holly at The Red Piano Bar.

Bumped into Thatcher's kindergarten teacher, Mr. Silva!

And the party continued at the Bobcat room!

Both Todd and I showed up overdressed to the dinner club we are in. It was Vegas themed and for some reason we thought that also meant to dress the part. Happy I don't have a picture to show my sparkly blue eye shadow.

Silly kids.

Post-soccer In-N-Out!

November in SB is the best for beach dates with Lollipop.

Keeping up with the hairdo

The best dog sitters in town!

Christmas shopping with these two.

I mean three.

Sam's eyes were so green in the sunlight.

Backyard spa time.

Glad Roo has his helmet on.

A friend asked if I'd take my kids to a casting call for a catalog photoshoot that her friend was having for L.L Bean in town. I thought it might be fun and an interesting experience.

The kids were interviewed, measured and photographed.

The French photographer was telling Sam to move this way and that way, be serious, now smile, now show no teeth, now turn, now this, now that.

Whoops, turn your sign the right way. Clearly he's a natural.

Well, they didn't choose my kids but they were all very nice. I was told they were looking for older and blonder kids to look more like the parents that would be in the shoot over the weekend. At least that's what they said...
