Fourth of July 2017

Decorating bikes for the annual Mesa 4th of July Bike Parade.

This looks like a "not another picture" face.

This tree climbing made me nervous. At the very tippy top, there is a kid!

Then beach day.

Then we hosted a BBQ, even Holley was in town with her family, but I have not one picture except for when I got this from a neighbor saying our kids left our BBQ for theirs.

Fireworks.

And I get an F on my documentary skills this day.

Random June Photos

My birthday buddy, Mike.

A double birthday celebration at Mesa Cafe calls for double wine.

FINALLY meeting the newest Strong girl, baby Willa!

Friends since babies and now all grown up!

Eleanora really wanted to be in the picture so she shyly came over.

She wasn't so shy when playing jump rope with the girls.

Environmental Defense Center fundraiser event at the Stowe House.

Thanks Leanne for hosting us!

Happy Birthday to Beck! (not pictured)

Flower children.

Schools out and everyone ended up here.

A retainer went missing from one of the kids in the group. We searched and searched with no such luck. Expensive night for one family... :(

Another "schools out" activity, playing flamenco!

Video: They may need Linda Vega's help ;)

Oh how I miss Leanne being my neighbor!

Fun little waves for the kids this day.

Some fresh highlights for the summer.

Had to kick start his natural highlights with some help.

Meanwhile.

End of the year Washington party. Gotta support the neighborhood school.

After hours at the Cliff Room.

And then after AFTER hours at the Red Piano.

Early flight to the bay area.

Boss lady not convinced about something. lol

New GMM branding. New biz cards.

Dinner at Parada in Walnut Creek with the team.

Dive bar after dinner.

Another beach day with these angels.

Followed by Mesa Burger.

And a lemonade stand to support The Gwendolyn Strong foundation

Dinner with the O'Flynn family. Caitlyn and Sam always put on some sort of skit.

Found this cutie in our front yard.

Lollipop did some serious sniffing before we found the owners.

Our happy place this summer. Bike rides to Sushi Go Go for dinner.

Sushi Teri house date with Thatch.

Sleepover with Vela and the only time Samantha gets to be with a cat. I am so allergic!

A little morning geography.

Halden has video games. Thatcher thinks his house is WAY better than ours because of this. ;)

Oddest contraption ever but it got him home.

Another Night Moves ribbon!

Happy hour surrounded by Night Moves participants feels a little odd but I think we were having more fun. ;)

The kids were active though!

Fun at the car wash.

Old Navy models.

Lolo spent a lot of time with us this summer. A non-Mesa kid doing junior guards is tough so we took her in for many days and nights.

Later that evening they helped me make homemade whip cream for a birthday party. My one task was to bring whip cream for the dessert and it couldn't be store bought. Who knew making whip cream would be so hard!

Surprise party for Mary!

They were all making fun of my whip cream. I should have just bought a can!

Summer Solstice time!

It's quite a parade.

Months later and we are still finding confetti.

Solstice break at Paradise Cafe.

Found a couple unicorns.

Not the safest way back home but we all made it.

Kept the party going at La Cumbre C.C.

Breakfast of champions after a sleepover.

Our second dog, Dixie.

Stella!

We give Sam's hand me downs to big sister Sky but Stella likes to think they fit her too.

Not quite.

Summer happy hour.

Summer surf.

Harbor days.

Harbor Market product placements.

Sandspit.

Not sure when the gloves appeared.

Sam's face!

Dog walking.

Meeting the newest mesa dog, Derby Paskin.

Meeting the newest Grey Matter baby, Benjamin.

Thatcher and Mateo's faces crack me up. Not so sure they know what to think about a baby.

That's Sam's baby blanket from when she was a baby.

Lollipop was a little jealous of Benny and kept demanding attention.

I was waiting for this text to come through. ;)

Thatcher's wetsuit is the hardest thing to get on.

Next time he's getting one that zips down the back, this one is ridiculous!

Vela's 10th birthday party.

Surf and donuts. Perfect theme for Vela.

Juggling work and kids over the summer meant a lot of coffee dates.

Dixie always wants to cuddle with Lollipop. And Lollipop isn't always up for it.

Looks like they merged together!

Dixie-Pop or Loxie ;)

Saying goodbye to Leanne's house.

And inspecting the moving company's job.

Leanne was off busy getting engaged ;)

Summer exercise included the kids too.

When Dixie is tired, she's tired.

Dropping Thatcher off at camp and Sam's buddies were there. That was tough taking her to junior guards that day.

Sam's first time surfing Rincon.

This summer brought the most sleepovers EVER!
