Settled in at the Hyatt Huntington Beach.

We chose this hotel partly because they had water slides. I'd say they were more geared to younger kids and the pool monitor in the chair with the striped towel had SO many rules including yelling the word "WALK" every five seconds.
So, we spent the rest of the time at the main pool.

The property is beautiful.

Then Caroline (kind of). Which is almost the entire Parker fam! ha!

A surf competition was happening across from our hotel and the kids cleaned up with so much free stuff! New hats, shirts, socks, stickers....
Sam was hoping to win this. No such luck.

Thatcher is good at finding anything free at hotels. Usually the fruit bowls.
We scored great seats to the Angel/Dodger Freeway Series. ⚾️
Thatcher was definitely having the best day ever if you can't tell from these pics.

Then all of a sudden, the game was paused.
Both coaches having a pow wow.
Something was up if Tommy was leaving.
Giving fans a quick wave.
And then this 💩. I mean, how freaking crappy was this situation?! The game went just 4 1/2 innings. It was a 4-3 "victory" for the Dodgers. Lame.
Thatcher's dream of getting a game ball was nixed.
Despite the game being a bust, Thatcher was still in good spirits when we got back to the hotel. Sam, on the other hand, was about to go to sleep.
Thatcher won the rock-paper-scissors to continue the night. Afterall, we had just left a very sh#ty situation. No one was ready to go to bed yet. Except Sam.
So we explored the hotel. Guess a lot of movies were filmed here.

Ended up in the BonaVista lounge.....

Time to head up the coast but first a quick stop to see Robert Vargas' downtown L.A. mural.
Todd likes this kind of stuff. I went along for the ride. 😂
We stopped in Malibu for brunch at the Malibu Farm Cafe.
And then picked up Lollipop from her stay with Grandma. 🐶
