This rarely happens.
When it happened the next day and Thatcher kept complaining about pain in his stomach, I took him to the doctor.
There was nothing they could find wrong and also as soon as we got to the doctor, suddenly he didn't feel as bad.
Until that night, we ended up here because he was screaming in pain and we wanted to rule out anything more serious.
He was screaming in pain and grabbing his stomach so pain meds were administered which turned his pain into what he described as a giant hug.
Pain meds had really kicked in at this point.
Thankfully it wasn't his appendix or anything else internally, tests came back normal. But we did end up at the emergency room twice that week and then determined we needed to drastically change his diet. Less Harbor Market junk for one thing. Also doing an elimination diet is really hard with an 8-year-old we learned.
