It was beautiful out today so we walked from our house to Alice Keck Park for a picnic. We are loving the location of our new house.

We Are Moving Tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am delirious from packing and thought I would take a break to post some updated photos of the kitchen. There will eventually be granite counter tops and the cabinets will be painted white. The dishwasher next to the sink is missing a part so we are not able to put the cabinet covers on it yet. And it's hard to tell in the photo but the microwave is way too high due to an honest mistake in the cabinet measurements. Unfortunately it is not an easy fix but will get lowered once we do the counter tops. Until then, a step stool is needed :)

My Day On The Job
I decided that I should put a little elbow grease into the remodel. I dropped Samantha off at Reese's house and reported to duty. My job was to fill all the holes with Spackle on the baseboards and around the windows and doors to get them ready for paint.
Todd runs a tight ship on the job site. He reluctantly stopped what he was doing to take pictures of me.

T-Minus 7 Days
We had hoped to move in this past week but for various reasons, it didn't happen. The move-in date is officially 1/24 which is next Saturday. Our goal in the next 7 days is to just get it livable and then finish the rest while we are living there.
