Our New Year's tradition for the past few years has been to head up to the Santa Ynez Valley and ring in the New Year with friends. We are very #blessed (that is for you Sarah) that our friends have invited us again to stay at their beautiful property Left Hand Ranch.
The goal of our New Year's is always to relax with friends over good food and drinks, lots of games, lots of laughter and keeping it casual and fun.

And that's all the photos I have. Unfortunately, while we were busy making sure the bow and arrow shooting was going safely, we weren't watching the non-shooting children who were running around below us. Rocks were being thrown and one hit poor Jack in the head so hard that he had to be rushed to the emergency room. A head injury is no joke and neither was the amount of blood spewing from his head. Thankfully it was not as bad as it looked and he was stitched up but scary nonetheless.
So, the takeaway as we entered into 2016 is to keep an eye on all children. Even the ones not doing archery. ;)
