Summer 2018 Piano Recital

Detar Music normally does a Spring recital but because of the holiday recital being moved due to the fires and mudslides last year everything was pushed. 

Sam was totally dreading the recital and Thatcher can be put in any situation and doesn't really care one way or the other. 

Sam does not like piano recitals until they are over and then she's drinking sugary drinks, ordering a big dinner plus dessert. Until then, she sits nervously waiting for her name to be called on stage. She wouldn't be so nervous if she PRACTICED piano more. 😉

We loved having the Stone family at our table and getting to see Connor perform too! 

We always love Sofia and her band. 

I can't believe their band has broken up since this! I think Sofia blamed it on the drummer. Isn't it always the drummer?! 

Not only did we get to see Connor perform but also little Evita Ferrone who we introduced to Detar Music too! Jess was just doing a good job on stage being cute.

They both had a few hiccups. Maybe one day they will listen to me about practicing more because piano isn't going away. 😜

2017 Spring Piano Recital

The Detar Music Recital happened in May!

Thatcher's first piano recital and who knew we'd get so much wear out of the gold pants?!

We finally got put in the same show as the Pirozzi kiddos! 

Beck looking awfully like he belongs at a lounge playing piano on a regular basis. 

Great minds think alike!

Sam wasn't covering Stella's ears because she didn't like her brother's music. It was just loud ;)

Samantha accidentally started an octave too high but the show must go on. And Thatcher's little legs dangling, not touching the floor yet, was the cutest thing ever.
