Christmas season had me doing a lot of baking for the kids' classrooms, friends and also just us! I was on a Rice Krispy treat kick. Let's just say that January has been spent detoxing and has been quite boring in the sugar department.
Our Christmas Cottage ;)
Tree trimming
The damn Elf, Frisbee, was moved around and put in all sorts of precarious positions to scare, I mean, get the kids in the Christmas spirit!
Celebrating with friends!
Special ornaments brought home from preschool.
And photos.
And notes!
The damn Elf again, this time with a threatening, I mean, thoughtful note.
"Santa" Thatcher
The kids watched a lot of Christmas movies although this is Mary Poppins. Not Christmas but a good one ;)
Christmas tradition of jammies from Auntie Holley
We drove around neighborhoods checking out all the Christmas lights.
Samantha helped Thatcher with his Christmas list: The whole family of Cars, Angry Birds Legos, Lego Batman, a Star Wars Shirt and my particular favorite request that took me a few minutes to figure out, "Arellrocit" aka A REAL ROCKET!
Those Rainbow-Loom-Pillow-Pet-Flashlight-Friends-Stretch-Kins commercials sure go a long way with kids.
Another day, another shelf for the Elf (that is if we did remember to move it) and another "sweet" note.
Sweet Christmas notes from Samantha.
We spent Christmas-Eve-Eve with the Stone family at Harry's. It's a tradition (ya know because we did it last year) that the kids wear their pajamas.
The adults don't have to wear jammies but "Dirty Grey Goose Martinis Up" are definately part of the tradition.
Then, FINALLY, it was time for Santa to arrive….
