Spring Kindergarten Dance Performance

Samantha's partner for the Spring Kindergarten Dance was her classmate, Max.

End of Baseball/T-Ball for the Kids

Samantha finished off the season and improved so much!  Even hitting the ball off the machine! 

Played catcher! 

Did an overall great job with keeping up with all the boys! Can you spot the pink shorts in the dugout? 

Samantha's teacher, Mrs. Mulligan, came to the last game. She had several current and past students on the Rockhound team. 

Having fun at the end of the season pizza party and awards ceremony. 

As usual, Coach Jules did an amazing job with taking the time to say something special about each kid.

And then there was this little guy who finished the Y T-ball season. 

He was SUPER proud of his trophy, even carrying it around a birthday party we went to after the last game. 

You can't even see his bruised/scratched up face from the fall he took the night before he took these pictures. Perhaps they gave him a free touch-up? ;)

By the way, no Rockhound photos for Samantha as we were out of town and too lazy to go to the makeup picture day, oh well… The desk drawer is starting to fill up with all these photo opportunities we take for school, sports, dance etc.

Peabody Academic Showcase

Kindergarten was soon ending and it was time to have an evening visit to the school to check out all that the kids have been working on as well as visit the 1st grade classrooms. It seems like yesterday that we were visiting the kindergarten classrooms!

Samantha's "Fall Leaves" ceramic above was selected for The Museum League Artwalk.

It's always exciting to be at school after hours to play with friends. 

So proud of this girl and how well she did this year in kindergarten.

Mother's Day 2014

Mother's Day kicked off at Thatcher's preschool with a special brunch.

On actual Mother's Day, we had lunch at Cafe Del Sol so I could have my favorite margarita and the best chips, salsa and guacamole in town!

Later we headed over to Cielito for more fun

Finally, we ended the day by meeting up with our favorite families at the Mission which actually came AFTER Samantha had one of her last Rockhound baseball games. Busy day!
