No wonder why Samantha is such a Daddy's Girl. She asked him to make a princess for her and one shampoo bottle, a sock, some tin foil and some paper turned into this. Talk about making me look bad......

Our Garden
Our garden is officially out of control and I LOVE IT! It has been a learning process since this was our first year planting one (which by the way, I can't believe it took us so long to plant a garden!!!). We are still trying to figure out when to pick things, prune things and some things have yet to produce (um, hello garlic and shallots, where are you?), but overall we think we have been pretty successful. I think I am most excited about our tomatoes that are FINALLY turning red and there are a TON!
Remember this?
It is now this:
We've come a long way since our Aerogarden days...... ;)

Fiesta 2011
Fiesta for us means getting to watch our sweet neighbor Sofia flamenco dance.
Fiesta also means A LOT of confetti, everywhere!
See what I mean about the confetti....
We also got to see Samantha's friends from preschool dance. This is her buddy Cheyenne.
And this is Angelina.
We spent the day at the fair riding rides
Then we took a break from the craziness at the fair and went across the street to Le Cafe Stella
Ms. Holley joined us!
Lollipop was not too jazzed about her Fiesta parade outfit. She literally froze when we put her sombrero on. On a side note, Lollipop looks like she has eaten one too many burritos. She needs to walk the parade route a few times to slim down.
Headed to State Street to be in the Children's Parade representing PEP.
Both Samantha and Thatcher enjoyed waving to the crowd
Little TJ was the mascot for our group
Parade participants got free ice cream at the end of the route for all their hard work ;)
