Random April Photos

At the carwash with these two.

And yes, Jack is wearing a helmet.

Pre-baseball game Selfie with my Rockhound.

And my other monkey.

My workout partner at city college.

Trying her best to balance on a soccer ball.

Samantha is taking an after school art class.

Dinner date at The Habit with Mason.

These silly kids LOVE watching "Survivor". I am pretty sure we are the only ones left watching this show. The kids made their own Survivor buffs for themselves and their stuffed animals.

Not sure if they are helping or hindering.

Date night to see Beck in concert at the Arlington.

Wine tasting in the funk zone and ran into Samantha's teacher from TK. We miss her so much!

Flamenco date with Samantha to watch the selection of the Spirit and Jr. Spirit of Fiesta.

Loving my new GSF hat!

I didn't think this would happen but the "Frozen" craze is actually now dying out in our house. Sam will be doing a week long singing camp this summer that is Frozen themed so perhaps it will make its way back in style.

Kindergarten field trip to Alice Keck Park.

They had to journal what they saw on the trip

She saw "leaves" and "crazy people", pretty much spot on for that park ;)

Kindergarten artwork

Even one that won first place at the fair (I think everyone got that ribbon) ;)

Arigato with my best mommies!

Angel's Foster Care lunch at the Biltmore.

Happy Hour Love

And finally, proud to be a part of the championship team for the 1st annual Peabody Panther Relay! About thirty parents from Peabody competed "Survivor" style doing various obstacle courses at the beach. Our BLUE team was victorious beating out Todd and all the others ;)

Preschool Report for Thatcher

This Kid.

He goes from this.

And this.

To, "I don't need to nap anymore!"

He's still napping although it is mostly in the car or on the couch like this.

This preschool year is coming to an end and he will move on from Ms. Katie's class to Ms. Laurie's class in the fall.

I'm pretty sure Samantha never got a "W".  I love the added "sometimes".  I honestly can't imagine Thatcher sitting still for more than a minute so it all makes sense ;)

A look back at his first day (with a swollen black eye of course).

Chris and Kayla

Todd's step-brother, Chris, got married in St. Lucia a few months ago and had a beautiful reception last month at the Westlake Village Inn to celebrate his marriage with friends and family.

Here's some photos from the evening:

The Fallon boys with their Mom ;)

Drew and Jacquie and me and Todd

Dancing Grandma looking all fancy.

Father of the groom with the Fallon boys.

Todd with the mother of the bride.

The arrival of Chris and Kayla

Sister of the groom, Heather, and her boyfriend, Mark, were here from New York.

Congrats Chris and Kayla!

Readers Theater

Samantha is in an advanced reading group that she attends twice a week with kindergarteners from the other classes. They had try-outs for a play called, "The Moose's Loose Tooth" and guess who got the part of the Moose?!

By the way, I gave Todd some pipe cleaners and a headband and look what he did ;)

With her buddy Braydon who played the Tiger.

Here's some video of the play. Mrs. Clancy is their reading teacher and we love her! She has been such a great advocate at Peabody to single out those kids that are ready to be pushed a little harder.

The kids performed the play for each of the five kindergarten classrooms. I was able to attend twice and even Dancing Grandma was able to make a performance. So proud of our Moose and how confident she was reading and using such expression!
