Leanne and Nick had the most incredible wedding and what's even more incredible is that both Samantha and Thatcher got to be a part of it.
Special delivery!
Sam has been asking to go to a wedding for a LONG time and not only did she get to go, she got to be in one!
Trying on outfits for the dress rehearsal (she went with this one!)
Leanne sent over dresses for Sam to try for the wedding (this was the winner!) Oh and the boots, the boots were a gift too!
Thatcher was asked to walk Dixie down the aisle and Dixie, the (crazy) puppy, would have the rings around her neck. This was an important job especially if you saw the rings! bling bling!
A haircut was definitely on the list before the wedding.
Practicing their readings.
I was lacking in the "cowboy cocktail" attire so was on the hunt for boots!
Todd helped with some signs. His specialty ;)
Nails, check!
Dress rehearsal!
Yes, this dog would be carrying the rings with a 7-year-old in charge of her. 🤣
It was quite the scene seeing all the set-up. It was like being on the set of a big movie production in Leanne and Nick's backyard!
More practice.
Wedding bartenders?
Nick's mom.
Nick's dad.
These two were glowing with excitement!
Setting up the tribute to Leanne's father.
Leanne's mom.
Rani the wedding coordinator extraordinaire!
We met Ava when we were in Montana with Leanne last year. Such a sweetie!
Practice makes perfect!
Off to Cold Springs Tavern for the rehearsal dinner!
This is me stopping curb side at Nordstrom because the brand new dress I was going to wear to the rehearsal dinner had a hole in it! They were so great when I called and said to drop it at the curb and pick it up in a half hour and they'd sew it. And they did!
It was freezing at Cold Springs so I could have worn anything since everyone was bundled up!
Wedding day hair by Mishay.
Just waiting around for it to start!
Love Kelly, Ava's mom, she's so fun!
Leanne's grandma and Nick's brother
Leanne's brother and Mom.
Lila walking Leanne down the aisle. Lila's dress is Leanne's first wedding dress made into something to fit Lila. How sweet is that?!
These three! 😍😍😍
Thatcher successfully took the rings up!
Leanne had given me this sweet card and asked me to give a toast at the wedding. Which ended up being the second toast at a wedding in just a few months that I have given! I don't have this one on video but I did make sure to throw in a few stories and laughs.
Best parting gift from a wedding I've ever seen!
El Encanto brunch the next day.
Dixie was exhausted.
These three weren't.
Leanne's dress was only a couple hundred dollars. She ordered it last minute off the internet and it is the same exact dress as one of her best friends. I am not sure it made it home from the El Encanto.
Back at Leanne's house....
So many beautiful flowers.
Leanne delivered them all to our school that our kids attend the next day. How cool is that?! All the teachers and administrators had fresh flowers.
Nick was impressed that all of the chairs, tables, rentals etc. had been removed in eight hours!
How are they not tired?!
The dress DID make it home.
Beautiful November sunset.
Wedding leftovers (there were a lot!)
A lovely end to a beautiful wedding weekend.
I was so proud of Sam. She spoke clearly and looked at the crowd. It's not easy being nine and speaking in front of a couple hundred people.
Lila wanted Sam right next to her during her reading in case she needed help which she didn't!
