It's the birthday that keeps going on forever and ever ;)
We give both kids a choice each year to either go somewhere fun for their birthday (Palm Springs, Disneyland, Legoland etc.) or have a birthday party. Price-wise, they work out to be about the same. I kind of like going somewhere because it's more fun for me and less work but this year she chose a kids only party at a an activity venue so basically I just wrote a check and the rest was left up to the party place, KnitFit, and the party-goers, 6 and 7-year-olds and one lucky 4-year-old.
KnitFit is an awesome craft store with tons of different activities for kids.

No need to decorate at this place!
The first craft was for all the kids to paint the first letter of their name.
Friends began to arrive and got right down to work.
Next up, the kids could choose from one of these other items on the table to choose to paint while eating pizza.
Time to wash up for cake and presents!
