End of the School Year: Kindergarten and Second (and a little bit of Father's Day)

Here are some memories from the final days of kindergarten and second grade:

Kindergarten beach day at Leadbetter

End-of-year awards for second grade.

Graduation ceremony for kinder.

Signing farewell autographs.

The kids were both published in the Sentinel with letters to their teachers.

Second grade beach day at East Beach.

It happened to be FREEZING that day and all four of these crazy girls went in the water.

Here's what the kids looked like on the first day of school.

And the last!

Look how much they grew, Thatcher especially! Look at where his head is compared to the other photo.

First day.

Last day.

If Sam looks annoyed to you, she is. She hated that I made her wear what still fit her from the first day of school for the last day of school picture. We compromised and she brought a change of clothes in her bag.

Here's a real smile from Sam now that she is in her standard uniform of workout shorts and t-shirt.

I can't remember how he got the shiner under his eye but he wore it well for the last day of school.

Saying goodbye to teachers.

Shoreline Cafe happy hour with friends to celebrate the last day.

Thatcher wasn't patient enough to get more than one autograph ;)

Video: Kinder Graduation and Father's Day Sing

Kindergarten had their last Sing celebrating both graduation and Father's Day. I'm glad Thatcher wasn't hiding behind the leaves like the kid next to him. ;)

Happy Father's Day to Toddy (spent in Morro Bay during All-Star softball season) and Happy Graduation to the kiddos!
