Palm Springs

A few weeks ago we packed up the car and headed down to Palm Springs for a little R&R.

First stop, Thousand Oaks to drop off Lollipop to Grandma and Papa's house.  Don't be fooled, Lolly isn't smiling, she is hyperventilating.  She HATES long car rides.

Soon we were nearing the desert

It was 111 degrees when we pulled up to Rancho Las Palmas Resort and Spa in Rancho Mirage.

We decided to wait for our room outside while having some lunch.  As you can tell, Samantha was HOT!

Thatcher was sweating (we all were)!

That was easily fixed when we got our room, unpacked and headed straight for the pool where we remained for the rest of the day.

Samantha met a little girl named Samantha who was also four.  They became instant BFFs.

Around dinner time we headed back to our hotel room which overlooked the golf course.

We got ready to go out and celebrate my birthday.

We walked around downtown Palm Springs.

Bumped into Sonny Bono

Had dinner at Matchbox.

We made birthday wishes

and family memories.

Until it was very, VERY late

Sweet dreams until the next day where we did a whole lot of the same, which is exactly what we planned to do!
