This past weekend we celebrated both Reese and Samantha's 3rd birthday. We decided to consolidate the two birthdays into one because A.) they are the last to turn 3 out of the group B.) we have been booked solid with birthdays for the last few months C.) their birthdays are only about a week apart D.) November is a busy month for everyone especially on their actual birth dates (Sam's will ALWAYS fall on or right around Thanksgiving) E.) it would be twice the fun and F.) must I go on, it just made sense right?
Our theme was "Life is Sweet" and we set up tables for the kids to decorate chef hats and aprons and later we put out a cupcake decorating station. Guess which activity was more popular? We also had a gigantic bounce house that served as an excellent babysitter as well as a place for the kids (and some adults) to burn off their sugar-highs. The weather could not have been more perfect and we were so fortunate to have been joined by so many close friends and family.
There was one thing that was missing though, we forgot to sing Happy Birthday to the girls!!! Oh well, there is still their actual birth dates to take care of that ;)
All in all, the party was a success and I am sure you will all agree, LIFE definitely is SWEET for Samantha and Reese!
Happy Birthday Reesie and Sammie!
