Little Samantha has been running a fever since Sunday evening. It has gone as high as 104 degrees. She has vomited a couple times and is very uncomfortable.
I took her to the doctor on Monday and today when her fever soared to 104. The doctors have instructed us to alternate Tylenol and Motrin every 4 hours and keep her as hydrated as possible with clear liquids.
I feel so bad for her. This is really the first time she has been sick and its hard to see her this way. She is sleeping A LOT. She does have sporadic moments where she seems like she is on the mend but once the medicine wears off, the fever creeps back up. She has no appetite and weighed 17 lbs at the doctors today which is about what she weighed at her 6 month check-up a couple months ago.
We are crossing our fingers that tomorrow morning she wakes up happy and healthy. The doctors want to see us again on Friday morning if the fever persists.
