Baseball season for us is about February to July with regular season teams then All Stars. In 2019, Thatcher was on the GVSLL Royals and the Pony Rangers. Both teams had a fairly good run with great friends and nice coaches.
GV opening day
Jack and Thatcher otherwise known as Thunder and Lightening were the dynamic duo on the Royals.
Thatch always had this guy when he had no one to play with. 😂
He loves baseball this much. 🤣
Mesa buddy, Talon, was Thatcher's sidekick on the Rangers.
All Stars is where the fun begins.
Thatcher played on both teams again.
Love these baseball moms!
Post-baseball lunch at Lure
Our at-home pitching mound got lots of attention with interesting ways to play. 😂
Fun outing to celebrate mid-season with GV teammates on the Land Shark
Coach Nate is the best!
Won the 9U championship game!
Waving to my parents on the game cam.
Pony plays a longer All Star season.
With lots of travel and restaurant outings.
Once in a while this one would tag along. I'm not sure the last time I read a book that thick. 🤣
Between game carpools.
We'd have to warn restaurants in advance.
Celebrating a teammate's birthday at Dave and Busters.
We had several stays at The Palm Garden in Thousand Oaks.
The All Star Pony Moms.
Baseball pool parties.
Sam getting in on the pickup whiffle ball games.
Can Todd get any closer?! 🤣
Thatcher was the closing pitcher for both All Star teams. He didn't seem to be affected by the sometimes nerve-wracking spot. (It is very nerve-wracking as a parent).
Th Pony team continued to play even after securing the championship spot.
I practiced a lot of french braids on Sam.
And finally, an end of season party at Brandon's house.
Parents vs. kids games always brings out the craziness in some parents. 🤣
And then an end of season party for GV at Graham's house.
