We kicked Easter weekend off with some egg decorating at the Paskin's house where all I have to show are white, undecorated eggs....
I promise they colored eggs and even I got in on the action once they brought out the glitter PAAS® EGG kit.
On Easter Eve Samantha wrote a note to the Easter Bunny and put it by the fireplace like she was waiting for Santa Claus....
She even included gifts for the Easter Bunny!
Since when did Easter become Christmas?! Her note is asking for Monster High stuff which I am not even exactly sure where she learned about this show. I actually don't even know if it is a show or just a series of dolls??? Lucky for her I was able to find some random Monster High stuff for her Easter basket so she was a happy camper in the morning.
The Monster High shirt was a favorite ;)
My parents arrived with more treats for the kiddos.
Todd got to work on his annual watermelon carving for Holley's brunch.
Lollipop and Poppy are best friends.
Trying desperately to get a picture of these two in their new Easter outfits...
The weather on Easter was rainy and gray for most of the day which meant our egg hunt was postponed a bit until after our brunch at Holley's.
Holley's house looked beautiful all set up for Easter.
Egg hunt time!
PEEPs race time (Todd rigged his PEEP with a plastic fork which didn't work to his advantage...)
The world's most amazing chocolate bunny Easter cake by our friend Meredith.
Yep, that's edible grass!
We came back home to clear skies and our family egg hunt.
Thank you Holley for the Easter brunch and to my parents for joining us this year!
