Always Smiling

This is how Thatcher is 95% of the time.

Always grinning from ear to ear

and making cute faces.

Yesterday at the grocery store there was a line of ladies, old and young, “ooooing” and “ahhhing” over him.

He was giving one of these big toothy grins and crinkling his nose.

I just LOVE Thatcher's big brown eyes and curly hair and how much he reminds me of Samantha.

This video pretty much sums up Thatcher.  And notice when I ask him to say , “Da Da”, he says “Ma Ma”.  I think he does that on purpose to wrap me around his little finger even more.

It reminds me of Barbara Mandrell from the 80's.

He will take 1 and then another.  Baby steps..... No rush Thatch, take it slow....

Silly Sammy

Bedtime can be challenging for Samantha (and us). On this particular evening Samantha insisted on wearing a snow hat, gloves and scarf to bed.  

The phrase, "Choose your battles" has never been so apparent to me since having children.

Later I snuck back in to see if she was still wearing all the winter gear, looks like the hat didn't make the cut.

While I Was Away...

Daddy spent the weekend at the beach with the kids

They all managed just fine without me despite the fact that Daddy ran into a wall and ended up with stitches in his forehead...

10 Months

Seriously, 10 months, ALREADY?!  It boggles my mind that in less than 2 months Thatcher will be a year old.  I literally can still hear my doctor telling me to PUSH! 

What's up with Thatch lately:

He likes to greet people with a high five and a wave.

Breaks out into random clapping sessions with the hugest grin on his face.

He bites!! (not so fun....) 

He can say "Ma Ma", "Da Da", "Sa Sa" (Sam), "Bye Bye"

Will eat anything except for bananas.

Likes playing tug-of-war with Lollipop. 

Entertains himself by throwing balls around the house and crawls after them at top speed.

Thinks Peek-a-Boo is hysterical.

Is starting to climb up on things.

Trying really hard to walk. He will let go and take a step or two before falling on his bum.

And he still is a total Mama's boy ;)

Samantha at 10 months looks like Thatcher with a bow on his head.
