The plan for Spring Break this year was no plans.
Which resulted in staring contests.
Lots of them.
Being tourists for the day in our own backyard eating at Longboard's Grill.
Besides staring contests, there was a lot of thumb wrestling going on.
Thatcher figured out that staring contests could make him cry on demand.

Over Spring Break we said goodbye to our highlander and hello to....wait for it....
A minivan!
(Don't make fun of me until you come with me for a spin. I promise it's awesome!) ;)
I woke up the next morning and stared out our window in disbelief that I now drive a minivan BUT after a couple weeks I got over it and have embraced it.
A staycation at the Bacara helped to heal any buyer's remorse I had.
Both kids have no problems making friends at hotels. They met these girls who were from Portland and made up dances, acting skits and planned to meet the following day for more swimming together.

Even Lollipop got to join us for a night once Todd arrived from work.
