Our Weekend

This weekend we went to the Santa Barbara Harbor Seafood Festival.

We got right to work on the fresh seafood dishes like fish tacos
 and barbecued albacore

We toured the Coast Guard boat

and played with fish

Ended the day with ice cream

On Sunday we spent the entire day at Butterfly Beach enjoying the 70+ degree October weather.

Big Birthday Weekend

Last weekend was birthday party central!

On Saturday, we celebrated Ms. Gwendolyn's 4th birthday at her cowgirl themed party.

Below are photos from Marina the talented Yummy Mummy.
 The Birthday Girl!

 Princess/Cowgirl Isabella

 Sweet Leila.

 Sweet Jessica.

 Cowboy Connor.
Marina knows how to make my Thatcher look so sweet.  (Missing from this photo is his black eye and scrapes all over his face from falling, thank you Marina!!!!!)

 Little Star

I love this picture of Leila

I took a few photos on my phone:

The pinata was full of fun toys such as these teeth ;)

Jack and Thatch having a boxed drink.

The party weekend continued with T.J.'s 4th birthday train party!
The photos below are from T.J.'s Mommy:

T.J. gave out train whistles and hats to all his friends!

We took some photos on our phone:

Samantha was beyond thrilled that her buddy Eli was on board

After we cruised the coast for what I think was less than 15 minutes, we landed in Carpinteria and enjoyed some play time at the park and birthday cupcakes.

And then back home again on the train......

Elings Park

Last week we headed over to Elings park to run the kids and the dog.  We brought Connor along to join the fun.

I think they were telling secrets

I hope they were just telling secrets..
.

They ran for two hours straight.  I am not kidding.

And while Sam and Connor (and Lollipop) were running all over the park, Thatcher had more fun just hanging around.

Bisou

Oh how I wish I paid better attention in french class so that I could teach my kids another language.  We've been saying "kiss" in french to Thatcher since he was a baby and it has just stuck.   Understanding one word of another language is a start, right?

Here is my little French boy giving bisous to the pumpkins.
